Why is it that we can't date someone elder to us, but an arranged marriage with an elder person is justified? Be it a guy or a girl.
I've seen people getting married where the girl is 21 years old and the guy is around 28-30 years old, but such arranged marriages are justified but if a 17 year old is compatible to a 27 year old then that's not acceptable.. Why? Just coz they are thinking of a relationship and not marriage.
I don't understand what's more important, compatibility between two people or the age difference. What should match? Their maturity level or their kilograms?
Is understanding more important or the time they were born? I don't accept all this ritualistic bullshit, I believe that before deciding to get married people should try and stay together for atleast 6 months to see that whether they can bare each other for the rest of their lives and just stick together no matter what. Coz I feel that its better to have a live in rather than a divorce.

It's your life, live it your way. The society is not gonna live with your spouse, you will.
