The Poorly Rich! #Part1

What if someone has everything, money, fame, a luxurious life but still longs for the basic needs of life.
He doesn't have a happy family, a happy life, a day where he can sit back and have a gala time with his wife and children. He can't look forward to a prolonged sleep at night coz something always haunts him.
He's always after his next goal to achieve success and nothing seems  to be enough for him.

Sanchit Malhotra, a business tycoon who was as rich as Croesus. He lived in a mansion, surrounded by lavish oak trees, a beautiful pathway which led to a chain of fountains and a lovely statue of Goddess Lakshmi in the middle of the huge lawns, I lived in the same house as his daughter, with my brother and my lovely mother. A small knit family, a huge mansion, expensive cars, lavish life, but was the point of it?

"What are you doing here?" My dad, the great tycoon of India asked.
"Just having a walk around the lawns papa." I replied.
I, Mallika Malhotra is your protagonist. I'll be telling you the story of my father, the rich business tycoon.
"How many times have I told you not to come in the lawns Mallika? Girls from a good family background never gets out of their home without their family around them. You better get inside." Dad shouted like always.
He was in a tiff with me since I was born maybe. Even if it isn't that long, I guess it's like this since I gained my senses.
"But the dad it's a.."
"Get inside now." I was interrupted in the middle of my sentence.
I silently went inside the mansion, back into the four walls of my room. I was fuming, my cheeks were as hot as a black pudding.
'It always happens to me. Dad always do it with me and mom. Why do we have the lawns when we can't walk out in them in a pleasant day.' I thought to myself.
I sat at the windowsill of the antique window in my room. My house or I should say dad's house was as grand as a palace of a King, but all this never fascinated me. I just wanted a happy family, a thing which every child longs for. I had a my Daisy and a pen in my hand and I quoted my feelings in it .. :)
