The Same Hand - The Window's World

A magazine rested on the side table that morning along with the morning tea for Aditya. It was pretty unlike the usual newspapers which accompanied the bed tea, but it didn’t matter as the very first set of words caught hold of his attention.

“Hold on, it’s worth it.”

He don’t know why but a very strange feeling knotted up in his stomach. The other day he had heard a guy say, “I do not hold the patience to invest in a relationship where she may come around as and when she pleases, its like she’s the centre of it all. And why should I? Did she wait for me when I wanted her to, while I was away for a year telling her that I’ll see her the moment I get back. why do I show her the patience of waiting, when she couldn’t?”

Aditya was spun in his own chain of thoughts. It was always difficult to hold on he knew, but the generation right next giving up on almost everything was something much unlike he knew himself at least. He remembered about the kind of love he used to love with, the determined kind of love, which did not diminish as per the love of another, but grew with every rejection it faced. It’s like people tussle between the universe they have and the universe they desire but they do not wish to work for it, they do not wish for the world to revolve around on its own orbit and come to the point they seek. They hold a question of unease, while they are the ones who let go of their own world this quick.

Hold on, because there does stand a light at the end, trust me, enough light to dazzle the darkness away, the one to rekindle love, joy and above all hope. The hope to see a happy ending and a fairytale, oh so beautiful!

Continue to hold on, because the person may be too far for your hand to hold and for your arms to embrace, but is not far enough for your heart to not love anymore.

Hold on because its a lot more difficult from letting go, it’ll help you know how you could have it all and yet you chose that person, over and over again, until the end because until the end, its in you to disagree and yet hold onto the same hand forever.
