The Life Hurdle of Hurt - The Window's World

“I’ve been holding back since so long, that I don’t even remember, but today, I just wanna cry.” Aditya faded out to this sentence over the window. He knew how that felt, how hurt felt because on a loss of all he had, his memories, that’s what he felt, hurt just that he never spoke of it.

Sometimes the hurt accumulates. Every time you get hurt, you pull back a little, you begin to act like it didn’t affect you, you begin to hold it inside of you, and you just do not let go, not anymore. Maybe because, you care too much of the other, or maybe you assume they just won’t understand. That’s just another stage of egocentrism, when you begin to feel like your perception will always be misperceived even before you try to hold it out.

But, have you ever thought of the other person? Do you consider that probably, that’s all they want to lend, two ears that listen. It’s not about whether or not it hurts them, its about whether or not you trust them. Sharing is a matter of trust, it always have been, but you let them down, every time, every step of the way. You make them feel like a person who’s existence no longer matters. You know they know that there’s ocean in you which needs a shore, but they also know, how you’ll always avoid them as the waves to travel to it.

It no longer was about you, when you refused, it was about you and the person right there. The hurt no longer accompanied just you, it was shared just that, in another world, the reason was you.
