Wedding Series! The Colour Of Henna!

The perfection of the moment couldn't be described in a better way than it already was. Every bit of it reflected in her smile. The air was painted in the colour of happiness. The orange depicted the liveliness, yellow depicted the warmth of the future and red depicted the love she would receive soon in her new family, but the only colour she was in love with was the colour she was painted in.
The colour of togetherness, the colour of henna.

The knots were to be tied the very next day, and she was still in love with the memories she held. The memories of her home, her family, her parents. She knew she had a new colour to live with, the colour of henna but along with it, the henna on her reflected the colour of her memories, the colour of her first walk, her first word, her first cry. She had to leave behind the these colours to live a new colour in life but what one couldn't understand is, one cannot detach itself from colours. We may find a new shade to the same colour but we cannot detach ourselves from the liking of the previous one.
So is the colour of marriage, one may find a new parent in their in laws but you cannot give up on their own, one might find a lovely brother in their brother in law, but you can't let him take away the numerous childhood memories. A sister in law may stay with you for a lifetime but you cannot replace her with the endless gossip I had with her.

The colour of henna made her believe that it'll always let her remain reserved, and connected to both ends. :D
The colour of henna made her believe in the true colours of love, compassion and togetherness!
These were the colours of the wedding. :)
