It's Still Complicated... Because I'm Still Waiting! ~ Chandra Kant Jaisansaria :)

Chandra Kant Jaisansaria’s It’s Still Complicated… Because I’m Still Waiting had the spark of being true, the spark of being loyal, and the ultimate spark of love enclosed in it’s pages. It’s hardly seen that a couple these days have fought against all odds to be together, and have laughed, cried, loved and lived for each other only, but CK and Megha have set an example of something which isn’t very common around anymore.

The cover of the book has an half heart key chain, which holds the word “VE” which means that it’s incomplete just how the story depicts CK to be. Incomplete without the love of his life. A not-so bright colour makes you feel the exact impact of being lost, and lonely. Together the key chain and the colour contrast shows how perfect the cover is for the story it holds.

The title “It’s Still Complicated” shows how CK gets through the blunders in his life and yet couldn’t save something so dear to him, yet he’s still waiting something to happen in his favour, something which can make his happiness come back to him.

The story has been set in Delhi where a guy falls for a perfect, typical Indian girl who dreams a future with every better half she is with. She fears her family but yet nothing couldn’t suppress their love and that’s what happened between the two characters of the book too. The madness they held can make anyone work into their squad of love.

The story is written in first person and seems to be the story of the author himself because even the name hasn’t been changed. So the narrator itself is living it’s own being. The language of the book is simple, and can be comprehended without much difficulty which allows the book to connect with the people easily.

Favourite Lines ~

We exchanged our glasses. Now, Megha was with me and I was with Megha.

Neend udha ke jaati hai khwaabon mein aake iss tarah,
Jaise pyaar nahi koi gunaah kiya ho,
Chahat ka teri itna hua asar hum par,
Jaise tere bina kabhi hum jeeye ho.

All in all, the Sameer don’t let him complete, emotional turmoil she has lived through each one of them. They have depicted how true love can go against all odds only to find their language of love.

Work well done, Mr. CK Jaisansaria! Keep writing! :)
