Promise Me A Million Times ~ Keshav Aneel

"The best gift in life is a second chance to make things right, but not everyone are truly gifted."

Charlie left Lugaar with no goal in mind, what he actually had was a friend by his side, a friend who needed him to be there through his thick and thin, a friend who has been there ever since he could differentiate the good from bad, a friend who was family to him, yet when tables take a turn, you just can't stand by the people who have been by your side ever since.

Edwin Perrod, a lost soul who travelled along with Charlie, the one who was family to him has decided to live by him and accomplish his only dream to be an actor in the dream city, Etiole. Ed has always been with Charlie, ever since he knew friendship, he knew Charlie yet what he didn't know was things will take a turmoil when everything was about to set right.

Between their friendship, flickered a ray of love, when Aster met Charlie. A girl who made him believe in his capabilities, fight his fears and conquer his past, while she herself held a mystery, a mystery which held her back from entrusting people, a mystery that was soul reason for her being confined, yet she gave up her mystery trusting one last time, only this time it was forever because someone finally had his chance to break through her shell and love her soul.

Promise Me A Million Times is a story of dreams, friendship and struggles, but most importantly it is a story of rising up from the ashes of your past and conquering your ambitions because where there is a will, they certainly has to be a way to fulfil it.

Keshav Aneel, the author of the book has penned down his dream quite beautifully, portraying love and defining a new height to friendship because in the end, what is left behind are memories. The memories with which the years are lived by.
Charlie decided to live his dreams, but sooner accepted defeat in all aspects, what he didn't realise was, defeat do not touch one, unless we accept it, Aster taught him to fight back yet there was a time when he lost it, completely. When he realised his fault and prayed on for a second chance, probably it was too late, yet he did live upto the promise he made a million times.

On a personal note, the events of this book certainly made me cry, leaving behind a sleepless night, which actually made me ponder how uncertain life can be, how a simple decision of someone else can leave behind a thousand tasks undone, a million words unsaid, therefore one should certainly live in the moment and love what one has, than to crib for what's gone, grieve the losses, but certainly shouldn't let the loss be your life. It's good to be in love, yet each one of us should learn to love unconditionally for only then, world will be a happier place to be in.

So certainly, I would say, not only did this book can make you smile, it will certainly take you for a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Mr. Author, the book is simply supercalifragilicticexpialidocious!<3 p="">
