It's The Downpour Of Love!

"Pluviophile." Rida sighed. "That's what I am, I guess. Every time it rains, I feel like dancing the day away just like this magnificent peacock who dances under the downpour to collect their share of love from heaven." She smiled as the drops on the windowpane caressed her soul.

Her coffee felt hot against her desiring skin. She was too tired to make love but too full to love him some more, rains had that effect on her, after all the very first moment of their togetherness was under this downpour of love.
As the hot latte kissed her lips, his arms made her feel warmer around her waist as they stared out of the bay window of their flat.

"I know my lady, that's how we first met. The time when you were having your peacock moment in the campus, I was flabbergasted by your aura, added to it was the drops of utter beauty from up above."

Kashif whispered in her ears while she adjusted herself perfectly in his arms. His breath was turning heavier and deeper, while she could feel it intensifying just around her neck. She knew where things will shape in soon, after all rain just adds spark to every suppressed feeling in the soul, this was one of them yet she didn't wish to give up on the beauty of the moment.

"Why don't we start it, all over again? From the very beginning, when you saw me in my peacock mode in the middle of nowhere, smiling to life." The innocence of her eyes never left her. "At least I'll have a beautiful memory when I go away from you, at least we'll be able to relive the best moments before I depart, forever." The melancholy lingering in her voice gave him a heart sinking feeling inside himself.

"You're going no where okay? But rains? No, they aren't for you, that's what the doctor told you remember?" Kashif comforted her further in his embrace as she cuddled to him like a baby who was to be taken care of. The last stages of her survival was about to be over. Her senescing body just made her sink in herself some more but his eternal, mystic love kept her going.

"But, rains have always been for me. In fact, they've been mine since forever. I'm a born pluviophile, remember?" Rida countered back. "The disease doesn't kill a human, but unfulfilled desires does and reliving beauty is one of them. It'll be over soon, both, me and the rain, please lift me to the stars, carry me through galaxies and kiss me in the rain." She made a puppy face, a thing he always give in for and so he did.

Swiping her off her feet, Kashif made her travel galaxies in his arms as he travelled through the stairs to the terrace smiling at her. The last bit of showers was yet to get over when she smiled to the heavens, opening her arms to the vastness of the sky and soaking her ends in the love of heaven and him. Kashif watched her smile, maybe now for the last time, just maybe but he did and nothing could that moment away from him, when he first met her to the last and the one thing in common was the rain smiling back at him, telling him that they'll stay with him forever just like she did, till her forever.
The Sun too simpered behind the clouds as he walked towards her under their own rainbow of togetherness and kissed her to make her feel complete, to complete his own existence, till the end of forever and that smile of the Sun amidst the rain was the witness to their seal of love.
