Coming Back Home ~ Anuradha Prasad!

"You may be the wanderer, the one who ambles in search of success, ambitions and himself,
But, there's always someone you're meant to meet, someone you come back to,
Someone you call home."

Arpita, a girl who has come up to the city of dreams to fulfil the wishes she always held close to her heart, a girl who had nothing else to achieve, no option to be rather than to achieve big, to achieve the best, and so she did, one call is all what it took, one call which made her a face of Indian television, and her life was never the same again.

Riku, a guy who's been someone who has been from the cliche small town guy in the big town world, with his obvious dream of being an actor, a face of Bollywood. What happens when he's offered a role in an Indian soap opera? Does he accepts it, or does he find it very demeaning for himself? After all, there's always a beginning to every ladder of success, even Dev Patel and Amitabh Bacchhan had been on the side at some point of time, so was the kickstart to Riku, but using someone's else stardom as a ladder to his own goals, has that ever been right? Has using someone at all ever been right at any given point of time? I don't think so.

Mumbai has always been the city of dreams, Bollywood has been it's main hub, will Arpita and Riku will make it, or the driving force of love, compassion and togetherness will make their careers take a back seat, will the betrayal shatter her, or bring her back as a stronger lead in the theatre of life?

Coming Back Home is an ambitious, raw and a painful journey of love and dreams, the battle which goes on, and is a part of every individuals life, the choice between what you wanna be and who you wanna have next to you when you achieve it, little do we know that whether that someone is with is or is turning every possible rock towards our way to make it full of hurdles, benches and a phase which can bring us back.
The authoress, Anuradha Prasad, has done all kind of justice to the story and the protagonists it hold. The best part about the book is that it's completely unpredictable, with simply no teenage romance involved since the maturity of the writer reflects in the way she handles the flourishing love between the characters and how it goes through the twists and turns of life.
Over all, the book is a magnificent read. Simply amazing! Hat's off to the author.
