As The Earth Found It's Rain!

The mystic downpour complimented the depth of the clouds. The darkness which engulfed the street and the loneliness of the sky was just a trigger to the emotions which were wandering in the deep tunnels of their hearts.

Her head revelled under the drops of heaven, tilted right outside the window as he gazed at her childishness, appreciating how her smile felt so real, how her closed eyes took in so much from the rain, feeling so lively as the chills made goosebumps appear on her flawless skin. Probably, she knew what was to commence, his unblinking eyes on her made her feel so.

She gasped to catch her breath as the shower grew louder and wilder as she drew the window back up again preventing the car from the demons of the rain. Raindrops felt so pure on her face, the magic it created, the breathtaking beauty she seemed to be, every inch of him wished to be engulfed in what the drops held so close. His gaze constantly took a pause at the tip of her lip, the one which held a raindrop all alone.

Mahi knew his eyes were following her around. She was about to take out a handkerchief when she stopped to realise his gaze at her. A very constant gaze. She couldn’t resist than to look up at Shireesh and in that brief moment, their eyes met as if something had casted a spell, as if that stare could never end. The game will be never lost by any one of them. The rain had finally found the soul of his Earth through those eyes. The pitter patter against the windowpane fell silent to their ears.

The silence surrounding them made them feel more beautiful together than ever. They waited for each other. For the other to touch one's soul, when suddenly no one came to know who made the first move, who came in closer or who felt that breathe around first, their lips met and as the rain kissed the Earth on that lonely road, submerged in it's vastness, so did Shireesh found himself in her, hidden deep inside those eyes in the cage of her heart was a man who she never knew so far yet found to be perfect. That lonely drop on the tip of her lip quenched the thirst which he held in the pit of his stomach, the one which was hidden in the corners of his heart while she smiled through the tears her eyes held so close. She never had been touched in this beautiful way, the touch which made her feel whole, the touch which made her feel alive, the touch which made her feel that she belonged.

His hands traced every drop which kissed her skin, and as they moved past her existence, the shivers grew just wilder and the goosebumps more prominent. Even though the fingers knew the tune to the harmony which the droplets needed to hear, yet he transversed his way down to her belly and just as beautiful as it could be, he quenched the thirst of her soul just like the rain ran down to the insatiable Earth.

The rising temperature, behind the closed doors the fog tipped down the windowpane of the car making the world go blurred to their vision, making them find a lost piece of themselves in the soul which was captured in each other's existence.

That day, Mahi found her Rain, and Shireesh found his Earth yet again. ❤️
