My Dream Man ~ Aditi Bose ❤

It starts where most of the stories begin, a metropolitan, in Delhi.
A bengali girl, Ajopa Ganguly, from Kolkata starts to differentiate between how it was and how it is, how Kolkata was and how Delhi is, though she fitted in well in the past and in the present.
A li'l girl who faces a hard time in Economics gets hold of a guidance, Aniket Verma. Her partial tuition teacher who took up her doubts every now and then. Though for her, it was just a new found fantasy. Every guy she came across was to be taken into comparison with Aniket, yet she never felt that she loved him, for her it was a far fetched word.
On the other hand, Aniket Verma, is an Economics professor. His first encounter with his student Ajopa, took place at the Indian Habitat Centre at a seminar and things took a new turn from there on.

"When things are meant to happen, they do happen, no matter what."

And that's what happened with them too, apart from their occasional classes, they kept on banging into each other, may it be a deserted road or a restaurant, their paths were destined to meet but only to part their ways for the future.
A small tiff, and things changed, drastically.
They wondered if they'll ever meet again or will it remain to be the same till the end of eternity. 5 years down the lane and nothing was to be seen, no trace of each other. She had his number, so did he, but 5 years and not even a blank message was exchanged. They never spoke or made each other realise of their presence, yet the events of that one day made instincts rise in her.
Years had gone by and Ajopa had tried her hand in writing but in vain. Every possible publisher had denied, rejected and thrashed her manuscript, and her self esteem. That's when he walked in again, into her life and her career. He promised to get her published for he knew that she could do wonders but the condition was a deadline.

Aditi Bose, the wordsmith of this bag full of golden words has created a new life for us to live, a life of a simple girl who shows how someone can actually be your "dream man" keeping apart, when, where and how you fell in love, keeping apart what made you believe that it's love. For her, her dream man was with her since it all started but the questions still remains unanswered.

It's said, "For a girl, her dream guy is someone who's like her father."
This held true for Ajopa, but how many of us will find our dream man, is he with us, or we're yet to meet.

#BookSynopsis ~
Ajopa Ganguly, a struggling writer, is reeling from the pains of her manuscript having been rejected by all publishers. She knows that making cupcakes and embroidering handkerchiefs is not her true calling. However, she is scared to write anymore and is losing focus.
Aniket Verma, is the professor of economics who was also Ajopa’s tuition teacher once. Despite their twelve years age gap, with time, they forge a special bond of friendship.
Then a misunderstanding!
Now Aniket is back and it feel just like old times. With a challenge of finishing a new manuscript in record time and a promise that he will help her to get it published if she does, he asks her to meet him at the publisher’s office two days later.
Does she write?
Does she go to the publisher’s office?
At what moment does their friendship change?
Do they fall in love?
My Dream Man, a let-me-tell-my-friends and I-need-to-finish-this-now story, is an insightful examination of how forces beyond our control help us make decisions. As Ajopa says, it is all about ‘deep choosing’.

Let yourself live through this world of dreams for sometimes a li'l dream of your heart can let you create wonders.
